Graduated (2010) and master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry (2013), PhD in Chemistry at University of Beira Interior (UBI) in July 2022. Has been a scientific research fellow since 2013, integrating several research projects in areas such as lignocellulosic and paper materials. During the PhD, developed research work in high-performance structures and materials made from micro- and nanofibrillated cellulose. Carried out laboratory coordination and support functions as well as scientific research as a Senior Technician in the Chemistry department of UBI, where currently remains as a Researcher. Authored and co-authored several scientific articles in peer-review international journals. The foremost areas of interest cover fibrous and paper materials, composites, compostability and biodegradability of polymeric materials and sustainability.
