Maria Graça Santos

Maria da Graça Pinto Nogueira dos Santos holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering (2004), from University of Beira Interior (UBI) and began her professional career as a process engineer at Dyn'Aero - Tecnologia Aerospacial Ibérica, S.A. (2005-2011) working on the manufacturing processes of parts and structural assembly of light composite aircraft. She worked as a process engineer at DURA Automotive Portuguesa Lda. (2011-2013) under IATF 16949 standards, carrying out APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) procedures, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), process optimization and Lean and Kaizen methodologies, she took responsibility for the Plastic Injection Process. In 2015, settled as Account Manager for the French-speaking market at Torfal, Lda - Corporate Clothing Industry. In 2018, she held an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from UBI and accomplished a post-graduate in Hygiene and Safety at Work (HST). She holds a Certificate of Pedagogical Competence since 2008 and worked as a trainer in the HST area. Lately at Albatroz Engenharia S.A. (2019–2023), she developed aerial operations for remote sensing surveys with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in forestry, agriculture, and asset management. Currently she is on the final-year of a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems at UBI, studying forest monitoring using remote sensing based on GIS. She is also a full member of Ordem dos Engenheiros.
