Ana Paula Ascensão Rosa Gomes holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, in the field of Processes and Industry, from Instituto Superior Técnico. Master in Management at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). PhD in Biochemistry at UBI. Senior Technician at the UBI Optical Center, responsible for the materials characterization and electron microscopy laboratories. It performs the following functions: analysis of samples by optical microscopy, metallographic, high and low vacuum and transmission electronic scanning, diffraction and dispersive energy of X-rays and differential scanning calorimetry to support research projects.
